Marriage proposal above the Bay of Kotor: Vinu & Di

Vinu is the kind of person who notices everything. When he decided to propose to Di, he wanted nothing about the evening left to chance — and from our very first conversation, that is how we worked too.

Fresh flowers only. Candles, greenery, soft light: Vinu didn’t want “a pretty venue”, he wanted warmth and an almost homely feeling, just high above the sea. Every detail was agreed in advance.

Then we planned the evening minute by minute. When the couple would arrive at the Horizont viewing deck above the Bay of Kotor, when the music Vinu had chosen himself would start, where the photographer would stand. We even chose the exact spot where Vinu would go down on one knee, and agreed it with the photographer beforehand — so that Di, the ring and the whole bay below would all be in the frame.

After the “yes” came sparkling wine at sunset, portraits in golden light, and at blue hour a white convertible dressed in flowers and candles. When it got dark, the driver took them to a restaurant to celebrate their first evening as an engaged couple.
