Horizont Restaurant & Bar (Kotor Serpentine)

Venue type

Indoor & outdoor

About the venue

A restaurant and bar on the serpentine road that climbs from Kotor towards Lovćen. A wooden viewing deck stands right above the cliff: the whole Bay of Kotor lies below, and in the evening the sun sets straight ahead. We staged a marriage proposal here, and the candles, flowers and decor fit on the deck so that only the couple and the bay stay in the frame.

  • Spaces: a wooden viewing deck above the cliff for a proposal or a ceremony for two, a terraced stone patio with tables, and an indoor dining room.
  • Getting there: about half an hour from Kotor along the serpentine towards Lovćen. The road is narrow with tight hairpins, so after dusk it is best to travel with a driver who knows it.
  • When to come: golden hour and sunset, when the light is soft and the bay sits in a light haze. The season runs from April to October.
  • Terms: this is a working restaurant. Booking the deck for a private event comes with a separate fee, which the restaurant quotes for each date; we agree it in advance.
  • Facilities: the restaurant kitchen and bar: wine, coffee, local pršut and cheeses.

NeverEnd

NeverEnd uses cookies so the website works properly and so we can see which pages are useful to couples planning a wedding in Montenegro.

Necessary cookies are always on — without them forms and language switching break. Everything else is your choice, and you can change it at any time.

Necessary

These cookies handle the basics: your language, sending an enquiry form, spam protection and remembering your cookie choice.

The site cannot work without them, so they cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity show us how many people visit the site and which pages they read. The data is anonymous — we cannot tell who you are.

The Meta Pixel helps us see which Instagram and Facebook ads bring visitors to the site. For this, information about your visit is sent to Meta.

With your consent we also remember where you came from (search, an AI assistant, social media or an ad) and which pages you viewed, and pass this along with your enquiry so we know how you found us. This uses the cookies wpa_s and wpa_on for up to one year; they are not shared with anyone.

If you switch this off, nothing changes for you; we simply will not know which pages were helpful.
